Monster Spray

Your young child may be afraid of the “monsters” under the bed, in the closet, or at the bedroom window which can result in bad dreams and fitful sleep for her/him. However, telling a young child that there’s no such thing as monsters is no more effective than telling someone who’s afraid of heights that there’s nothing to be afraid of.

This Monster Spray spell is an extremely simple but very effective to help your child. The Lavender Water will soothe him/her while the Basil Water will rid her/his bedroom of negative energies. Spraying the water is a visual and olfactory confirmation for your child, telling him/her that the monsters are now gone.

  Tools & Ingredients:

• Basil Water
• Lavender Water
• a clean spray bottle

  The Spell:

1. Pour equal parts of Lavender Water and Basil Water into the spray bottle. Shake before using to mix the two waters together.
2. With your child, lightly mist the closet, the window and under the bed, saying the following. Now the monsters will be gone!
   

   Monster, monster, go away!
   Do not come back another day.

3. You can also spray the threshold to the bedroom door to stop any stray monsters from getting in.
4. Store any unused spray in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks, if crafted from fresh Basil Water and Lavender Water.
