Sweep Out Negativity Spell

If you want to remove negative energies from your home, office, or another space, using a besom is one of the most effective ways to do so. The ritual sweep can be performed in conjunction with smudging if the negative energy is particularly difficult to remove.

• A besom

  The Spell:

• Begin with a physically clean space so remove dust, clutter, etc. before starting your ritual sweep.
• Start sweeping counterclockwise at the entrance door of your home or other space, while visualizing the negative energy being swept away.
• Note that since the ritual sweeping is ceremonial, your besom doesn’t have to make contact with the floor.
• Once you have worked your way back to the entrance door, open it and sweep the negative energies out.
